About Us

Bara Epic Israel is a 4-day MTB stage race (prologue and 3 stages), a UCI S1 stage race.

Designed for mountain bike riders who love spending long hours in the saddle, breathtaking nature views, and the challenge of long and demanding routes.

The race routes change from year to year to provide riders with a challenging, versatile, and balanced experience, usually between 75 and 110 km per day. The ultimate challenge is to finish within the time limit.

In addition, Epic Israel offers a one-day marathon in two distances – Medium and Long. This exciting marathon takes place on the final day of the tour and, together with the new “Finishers,” their families and supporters, brings Epic Israel to its peak moments of joy and achievement.

The race village for 2026 is located on the grounds of the Mate Asher Regional Council in the Western Galilee, on the Mediterranean coastline, 120 km north of Tel Aviv. It provides all facilities to meet both the basic and luxurious needs of riders during the event.

The race is FULL BOARD; the registration package includes full nutrition support – off-the-bike meals together with professional race nutrition.

Accommodation options include the Aquaduct Hotel next to the race village and Dolphin Village in Shavei Tzion, located 2 km away, allowing every rider to choose what suits them best.

Epic Israel is held in memory of Giora Tsachor, who passed away in an accident during one of his morning rides. His legacy of professionally completing unique challenges, combined with his love for nature and Israel, is embodied in the spirit of the event.

Epic Israel is committed to providing full support from registration through the finish line, assisting riders in their preparation and creating optimal conditions to complete this unique challenge and proudly become “Finishers.”
